Description: In this work, performance evaluation of LEACH and LEACH-C protocols based on NS2 is depicted, which helps to reveal the regularity how performances of these two routing protocols change with the sink locations. For a more accurate description of this regularity, two novel concepts are proposed, i.e., Sensor Node Distribution Gravity and Distance Metric between sink and Gravity. Simulation results show that a distance threshold area, which is a key factor for choosing between LEACH and LEACH-C protocols, can be achieved.

Description: Wireless Embedded Systems (WEBs) has attracted significant interest in recent years, for instance, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), have recently been in the limelight for many domains. The characteristics of WEBs have imposed various restrictions on their system designs. Since embedded systems usually are developed by low-cost hardware, one major challenge in the development of many WEBs applications is to provide high-security features with limited resources. In this paper, we propose a novel key establishment scheme, named half-key scheme that based on the well-known random key pre-distribution scheme and DDHV-D deployment knowledge to provide resource-efficient key management in WEBs with reduced memory space requirements and better security enforcement. The capability of the proposed approach is evaluated by an analytical model and a series of experiments.

According to the characteristics of logistics distribution, using sensor technology and network communication technology, an intelligent logistics distribution system based on the Internet of things is proposed. In this design, 89C51 single-chip microcomputer is used as the main controller, matrix keyboard is used to set the target value of product counting of conveyor belt, independent key is used to select the mode and the start and speed regulation of motor, the count value of T0 and T1 counter inside the single-chip microcomputer is input to the display screen, so as to realize the counting display and distribution system of products. When the count value reaches the preset value, the count stops and the motor stops running. Then, the target value of counting can be set additionally. After pressing the start key again, the counting value will be cleared and the motor will run for a new round of counting.)
